I have been so lucky to have been able to once again be part of the CFA Challenge program in conjunction with Outward Bound.

This is my 12th year and the partcipants are as wonderful as ever.

We love feedback here at Life Performance -

“thank you for the time you have spent with us – it has been invaluable. We have all learned a lot about each other and it has created a team that i believe will be successful together over the coming days. Personally you have made some switches turn on and I have a better understanding of myself  – For this I thank you again and I am sure I will be forever grateful.”

CFA participant

“It’s hard tof ind adequate words to say thank you! I feel so honoured to have been given the opportunity I have had – there is simply no doubt you have been a beacon. I am another person whose life you have touched
very deeply”.

“Really great, informative session. I was learning right from the first five minutes till the last. Very engaging and entertaining, enjoyable day. I found Carol to be hilarious! Very funny stories and delivery. I loved the stories. Also thought the use of media was great for holding interest over a fairly long and busy intense day. Thanks Carol.” Seminar partcipant Knox Community Health Services – 7th November 2011

A TWO-DAY workshop held recently for the 35 Loddon Mallee women employed by the Country Fire Authority has resulted in a burst of creativity.

Each participant stitched a square on the theme of following the yellow brick road, and the squares now form a quilt on display at CFA’s Swan Hill headquarters.

“The floods had a huge effect on our team,” human resources manager Beverley Nixon said.

“Many of us were affected on the home front, then we had to come to work and deal with the floods all over again. There’s a 50 kilometre head of water coming towards you and you’re trapped. There was no escape and the stress really built up. You worry about a really good downpour. Where would the water go?

“We decided to spend some time together in a guided workshop and acknowledge that we’d done some valuable work.”

Carol Fox’s session was fun, entertaining and definitely of great value and relevance. It’s amazing how much of a difference something as simple as respecting and understanding another person’s communication style can make in our business and personal lives. The presentation certainly had everyone laughing, talking and reassessing their communication styles in relation to their clients, team members, family and peers. Carol rated very highly at this convention and it was easy to see why. Thanks Carol, loved it. ”

Dallas Beeston – Principal

Carol Fox – it was informative, funny and taught me a lot about the way I currently deal with people and clients, and better ways to deal with them.”

A good departure from technical sessions, lively, enjoyable but highly relevant.”

Carol Fox. Very informative. She was a very good public speaker – managing to keep the interest of her audience.”

Carol Fox was an extremely charismatic speaker – I think I took a lot of motivation and renewed thinking with regards to clients from her presentation.”

New Beginnings Weekend Seminar 4th-5th April 2011

After much consideration ( and prompting from many clients!) I have decided to conduct my successful 2 day seminar for my coaching clients and selected individuals. I conduct workshops and seminars with sporting teams and corporate groups when I am not in the clinic and this particular 2 day seminar is always popular and very successful!

This seminar will provide them with an excellent opportunity to enhance their work and personal life. Through clearer understanding of self and the behaviours of others, communication skills can be enhanced, leading to improved confidence, motivation and personal and workplace relationships.
I cant wait to conduct this one and already we have people who have registered their interest in the next one as they couldnt make the date. If you would like more information about the content –

“Leaders & Champions” Australian Swimming – Mens Youth Sprint Camp

Posted by Carol Fox on October 3, 2011 in Blog - No Comments

Successful leaders and champions know themselves well…They know it is OK to take a risk. They are prepared to step up to the next level at the risk of ‘failing’ or making a ‘mistake’. Leaders and champions know how and when to be assertive in a racing environment and they know how to be co-operative in life. They know how to take the initiative and assume leadership. Most of all, they are very clear on the reasons WHY they choose to do what they do-they have a purpose and always have a goal clearly in mind.

Life Performance in conjunction with Lingk was proud to work once again with Australian Swimming, this time with the Male Youth Sprint Team.

Over a 4-day timeframe the team learned about intrapersonal and interpersonal techniques that would enable them to develop their leadership abilities and become an even more successful team in and out of the water.

I write to thank you once again for the workshop that you conducted last week for the Male Youth Sprint Camp in Townsville. Your contribution created the awareness (that I felt was needed) in the participants that I set out to achieve. As in any group of people it is difficult to get everyone on board “but” as usual with you, you achieved an incredibly high percentage”
